Thank you, maybe I didn't phrase my first post correctly but what I was trying to say is, if you fixed up a couple of those areas, then there is no reason with the team you have at the moment you couldn't go on to win some trophies and do it consistently, and that is what generally separates the teams that do and those that don't.

Yes it was not a GF winning performance, and I don't think we will win the GF this season, but it's a massive step forward over recent seasons.

I’m about to watch it again because I can.

Hmm, can't quite make out if the comments to my post are all being sarcastic or not but in a nut shell if that's how you want to put it then yes!

However that is not what I was getting at, and before I go on, I was actually rooting for you in the game as I think you deserved to be in the mix much more than Saints, so I am not having a pop at you as a team.

Mistakes happen in every game, players pass behind players, players drop the ball etc. it will happen in every game no matter how good a team you are, I was merely pointing out that two of the Saints tries and especially their last try came from nothing plays, there were not elusive dummy runners dragging players in field and holding up defenders (or from what I remember) the minute they played the ball on the right edge you could see them going in at the left corner with the way the defenders did not make a conscious effort to slide across, it just looked all far too easy, I am just saying it is those little effort areas that coaches go on about that turn good teams into silverwear winning teams.

Apologies for misinterpreting your tone. I’m a sensitive flower.

Quite surprising really, I didn't realise you even liked Rugby League that much :D

Enjoy

Anyone know why Musgrove did not go back on. Not seen anything about an injury and Burgess as just said everyone pulled up fine just a few bumps and bruises.

I’ve found the use of Musgrove this season rather baffling, I’m not going to argue with Super Sam’s methods but I bet he’s the most underused prop in SL when in the starting 17.

I saw Vaughan coming off the field after his first stint off the bench and he was fuming shaking his head at Burgess in the box. Obviously took exception to being subbed.

He wasn't that effective in his first stint. If it was Philbin who came on in his place, then I'd say Burgess amide the right call.
