Where would you rather go to watch one of our away games? Widnes or Toronto? We need Widnes and their supporters,in greater numbers admittedly, to get out of the hole they have been digging and survive. If not I can see the club folding, and that would be able great shame

If Widnes folds we can safely say the game should be read the last rites. There will be only 5 viable professional clubs soon.

It pains me to say but I'd much rather Widnes stayed up (great previous points about our attendance v the chemics)- we would really miss them. At this moment in time, i'd love it more than anything if stains got relegated, but, after a few years I think I'd want them back competing again. A rivalry is meaningless without a competing other half.

Must admit ... I don't enjoy this sort of thread. I remember well how horrible playing in the Middle Eights was. I don't wish it on anyone.

They’d be laughing harder than us if roles were reversed

"Love 'em"
The middle 8s are a farce, though
A straight one up, one down will suffice
Neither glass half full or empty. Just a realist.

Whoah! But hang on there, not sure if you’ve heard, but Widnes won the World Club Challenge once. Not a fair comparison at all

Which means they've been champions much more recent than you lot.

When was the last you won the WCC?

Wouldn't know about that, we've never got that low to play in the middle 8's.

Only because they didn’t have a Middle 8s in the years Saints have been relegated

Are you asking me if I would rather go to Widnes or Toronto, and expecting the answer to be Widnes?

Depends what you're looking for.

Burgess, Ellis and Thaiday for strenth and being a nother prop.

If you want the whole package then Lockers is the best right now.

Thanks, news to me but I’ll make a mental note to go on to the Widnes forum in the morning to offer my congratulations
