You do a good job of showing otherwise.

By the way, I didn't know pub teams had semi-professional players. You learn something new every day. :)

Actually, most clubs have replica shirts, yearbooks and other merchandise. I've been in plenty of non-league club shops where they've had more sh*te on sale than FC.

They all have a website as well. Even in the North West Counties League clubs are seen as being behind the times if they don't have an up-to-date website.

The trips to Europe are always by invitation and are decided on by a number of criteria. One of which being if it's accessible to supporters or not. And non-league clubs playing abroad is nothing new, Cheadle Town were doing it decades ago. Other clubs still take the opportunity when they can.

And our "Chief Executive"... Well, alright, that is a bit different to most, but considering the size of the club and the amount of work needed to run it and keep it going, it's no surprise that we need a couple of members of full-time staff. It couldn't be run entirely by volunteers.

As for a personal MEN reporter, that's mainly because he goes to games as a supporter. The MEN still have coverage of other local non-league clubs.

Fans club... Owned by it's members. Major decisions taken by it's members. Members decide ticket prices. Members will have a say in the design of our own ground. Jesus, we even had a vote on whether or not to enter the FA Vase because there was a chance we could have televised games.

I can start you off on this as often as you like, but you're still plodding out the same, tired old ignorant nonsense that's been doing the rounds since day one. The sort of stuff perpetuated by people who want to be cool and those who have something to gain out of United (Steve Black, Tony ON, Pete Boyle, that odious turd Tufty...)

Right, that's me done for the season. Let's just concentrate on United chasing down that 18th title, shall we?

Novel to say the least.
Get rid of the highly paid Chief Executive, that will save money.
BTW If i said I am totally skint so free would be the best for me would I get a ticket :-)

I thought you didn't care?

And no, they have set a minimum of price of £90, although if someone really is skint the club have said they're free to contact them to negotiate a price. I think you'd probably have to prove it though.

But it is nice to see you'd be interested in getting a ticket.

Although, you could be onto something with your second sentence. If United got rid of their obscenely over-paid Chief Executive who actually adds f*ck all to the running of the football club then they could use the money they save to pay off a huge chunk of the debt...

You know I care passionately about FCUM

I can see a loop hole here.

But it is nice to see you'd be interested in getting a ticket.

For nothing yes, but even then I would have to be paid money to attend.
Although, you could be onto something with your second sentence.

Glad you agree

Way of life these days I'm afraid. Hospitals have them, charities have them what they do I honestly dont know.
Come the revolution

Anyway..
Good luck with the venture........... it just may make the club go bust
