- boxset of Black Books for just £12 in Fopp with the boxset of Blackadder on its way too
- Nited mounting the necessary charge in the league, ugly 1-0 wins or not they're all worth 3 points
- the Jets getting shut of Mangina and bringing in a decent head coach (hopefully)
- the NFL play-offs
- my new PC being about 37 million times faster than my old one
- the new RL season only being a month away
- managing to fix my washing machine myself and not having to fork out for a brand new one

- people going on holiday to sunnier climes and me being stuck here
- the new RL season only being a month away and not being excited just yet, for whatever reason
- the fiasco that is the England Cricket Team at the moment
- some of the contractors we have to deal with at work...they bring new meaning to the word inept
- people thinking that householders who dont want to lose their houses cos of a new (and potentially unnecessary) runway being built are pinko loosers...its called standing up for yrself where i come from

Funny how the people who have been so vocal in the media have been climate change activists and nothing to do with the people who are loseing homes (if I have missed that I do appologise but the fact remains the vast majority of coverage has been the climate change people), fWIW I do sympathise with the people loseing thier homes but one thing is for certain they will be handsomely compensated for thier loss and paid over the odds for property that is rapidly loseing value anyway.

The pinko looser refernce was slightly tongue in cheek I just think the people who do protest against these types of things automatically think that every person is with them when infact I know very few who do agree with them and more importantly thier methods.
