Does anybody know what happened to the gov/loan to the RFL ? Did any clubs draw down on any of it. ? Question, if not, is it all still safe in the coffers ? I mean, the RFL are so transparent ! The money was a loan & not a grant, interest acrues, so all clubs chip in anyway just to keep the governing body viable, As a business, by law, all companies must publish their account/s. Agreed it is usually obscure in a minor paper somewhere + To the vat man ?

Well, the RFL have reported today, they have made a small profit. How they’ve done that when the sport been shut down for the past 18 months is anyone’s guess.

AFAIK the loan was zero interest, and companies do indeed have to publish their accounts but not immediately the financial year ends....What's the prob?

Who knows snowie, there can’t be much left of the RFL family silver to sell off. Some people, organisations just don’t know how to live within their means, and start manipulating the accounts to convince not only others, but also themselves.

Yes they do, but it’ could be that it’s not bringing in as much income that was hoped for, if rumours that the Bulls are now paying a reduced rent. Anyway, I’m not sure if the RFL itself own Odsal, the money used to purchase the place belongs to the member clubs of the RFL.

Apologies, I’ve just done a quick check, the land/Stadium is owned by Bradford City Council, not the RFL, who apparently hold the lease. The price of land has increased in recent years, perhaps the RFL could make a good profit by selling the lease at market price.
