Well, RL made the news as a result of Her Majesty putting the boot into Harry. Not great for the game and especially the World Cup (in the unlikely event of it going ahead this year).

I understand the decision he's made and how it necessitates him being stripped of these roles.

I don't really read the tabloids but do think Harry and Meghan get one hell of an undeserved slating. They're a bit annoying, preachy and 'woke'. Andrew is literally <Removed, please be careful about potential libel>, yet he cops less flak off the papers and, it seems, 'the man in the street' (Daily Mail/Sun reader). To me there's no comparison in terms of who damages the monarchy more.

Yes I did not notice that until I saw a poll yesterday . Most people I know wish him well and don’t blame him from wanting to get away from the royal family.

It's a reminder of the hold the cesspit tabloids still have over so many in our country. Unfortunately we still need to get Rugby League in front of the eyeballs reading them.

Ihonsetly thought he was popular and was seen as the royal with the human touch like Diana

All the charity work seemed really popular

Harry launched the Invictus Games in 2014 and remains the patron of its foundation. He also gives patronage to several other organisations, including the HALO Trust and Walking With The Wounded.[2] To encourage people to open up about their mental health issues, Harry, alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, initiated the mental health awareness campaign "Heads Together" in April 2016.

With a Cv like that not sure why he is the least popular royal !

maybe they don't like him because he's a ginger, I not royalist in any form and think if anyone had to put up with the crap that has killed his mother and now is hounding them down I'd do the same

he should stick up the two fingers royals and go live a life else where

I think it would be a good idea if the RL retained his role and invited him to various key games. Good for sticking two fingers at the media/ establishment and good for helping to move the country into the 21st century.
