Thanks for helping with this.
Both clubs had qualified but, their final position was far from assured.
If travel for clubs to different fixtures is going to be prevented, due to Covid restrictions, why on earth are other fixtures still ok to go ahead and more importantly, with this fixture (Catalan v Saints) not taking place, the top 4 (or 6) are being deliberately manipulated
I get that Saints dont want to travel to France but, are we therefore saying that Catalan will withdraw or, just that it's ok for them to travel to England ?
Surely even you can see the major problem with this decision ??
If it's not safe to travel, due to covid restrictions, then, ALL games should have been postponed, not just those of certain clubs.
After all there was a possibility for Wire to top the table and Saints to only make 3rd, which makes it a whole lot more difficult to reach the GF.
I cant quite decide if Catalan are being hindered or whether it's just Saints being helped but, either way, this is far from being right.
For balance, just take a look at the football clubs travelling all over Europe to complete their fixtures and they will no doubt continue to do so, making a total mockery of the RFL's ruling.
As for your earlier response I'm ok for fans of club's to close their eyes when their club is benefitting (and Saints most certainly are) but, to take your brain out and lose the ability to question something so obviously wrong is poor form.
Anyway, as you were
