Enjoyed that game. Under the circumstances, what a magnificent set of men these two teams have. Credit too them.

Agreed, real tough game but a fair bit of skill on display. I’m not a neutral but if I were I’d of enjoyed it.

Mainly because Leeds never stopped looking like they might come back. Was only over once Senior scored, I was nervous throughout.

Wish we'd started better though wakey held firm pretty well even when we did manage a bit of pressure. No complaints, it's a tough, tough season

A real tough ask for both sides but, especially Leeds.
3 days "rest" and some enforced late changes in personnel, some to their key players.

Having said that, they could have chosen to rotate a few more players, which although "weakening" their squad, may have been a better option with the return fixture on Sunday. - this is indeed a crazy season.

Despite scoring some excellent tries, it was the Trinity defence that won the game, not something that we are used to and Jowitt at FB was rightly awarded the MoM.

Maybe a tough call for Leeds with the Fifita try, one of those that if it goes to the VR as "no try", it wouldn't have counted.
However Trinity were good value to notch their 3rd straight win.

Hope the neutrals enjoyed it too :D

I really don’t know. If you’d have asked me that two weeks ago I’d have said no. Now any fair minded person has to re-evaluate.

I’m beginning to think that he is a decent coach whose luck clearly deserted for 18month. We all need luck the only debate is how much of his misfortune did he bring on himself. We will probably never know.

If Lady Luck is back with him then I think he will do very well indeed next season.

He is a good coach who has had terrible luck with injuries and covid issues.
He'll be stronger after this season as long as it doesn't ultimately break him
