I thought they must have gone bust as they haven't honoured the contracts. The players union is there to provide the lawyers who can enforce the players contracts and get a court order for TWP to pay up. If TWP are still ongoing then fair enough Livolsi is saying he will wind TWP up if any such legal attempt to get the wages owed is made before the game decides on TWP.

The PROSPECTIVE new owner has made a pitch to Elsone/RFL/Owners of Super League clubs about conditions for his requirements to be able to step into the position of new owner of Toronto Wolfpack.

As such, he is NOT in a position to wind the club up.I have not seen any quotes....Perhaps you could oblige?

Blackmail involves a threat with menaces....Perhaps you could oblige?

The Players Union are doing what they should be doing...Working for the benefit of the players.

The proposed new owners can buy the Club & respectfully accept whatever sanctions are forthcoming, they can then build from there. Their demands are holding the SL & RFL to ransom !

How is "let us in and the players will be paid" a bad thing?

At the moment there is no other avenue foreseeable of them getting paid unfortunately.

Just restart next year Covid permitting, as they would have done this year. It's the simplest decision.
