What's shocking about it?

That such a long time has gone for a historic club without a title. It's double the amount of time Leeds went which in itself was massive.
''I'm the most intelligent man here and I intend to keep us alive''

''The most intelligent, is that a fact?''

''it is, sheriff has a wife, so does Mr Odwyer, and you're a widower''

''Yeah, what does that have to do with anything?''

.......''smart men don't get married''

I wouldn’t call them a historic club

I see Leeds have now conceded that they are a small club like Warrington as they were so determined to win the Challenge Cup today.
Waiting for the 2021 RLWC

I see the wind-up merchants are out in force today.

It was a great cup final, would have liked to have seen Salford win for the romance of the cup, but still great.

What a shame so much build-up in the national media for Exeter vs Racing Club and so little for this in comparison.

Typical chip on shoulder rugby league fan.

At 9.30 am this morning, the main story on bbc news was the challenge cup final. Not the main sports story but the main news story. Not trump and not covid. When has, say, football ever been the top story? Never

But we are oh so hard done by aren’t we lmao

That's good if that's the case. I didn't see it. Somewhat undermines your previous claim that it's basically a meaningless competition then. Don't you get bored of trolling? Surely there's limited entertainment in (probably) getting hammered/stoned and flapping around in here like a mentally ill 12 year old going 'lmao' all the time?

I was referring to The Guardian web site and The Telegraph paper, both of which gave way more prominence to the Exeter game.

As I said in the very first post, it’s laughable that Leeds would be the team to stop us. Josh Simm is beating them by himself, but this isn’t news to anyone who actually knows anything about rugby league. Whilst Wigan fans wax lyrical about any young lad who gets a first team game, “oh mate I’ve watched him since he was 6 months old and he is the best player I’ve ever seen” us saints fans have known about Simm for a while and know he’s going to be a future gb international, just like Dodd. Without doubt the 2 best youngsters gb have at the moment

Nobody can stop Saints by putting out their reserve team
“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”
