This game is a friendly and is a sell out, it is also been shown live on tv, it could possibly be the biggest gate attendance of the season league wise, I have never known anything like this ever in rugby league, I think it will be very emotional and it’s for a fantastic cause, congratulations to the best supporters in any sport, RUGBY LEAGUE ITS MORE THAN JUST A GAME

Well looks like the thread is back on track after all the predictable bickering so we have these in addition to the leeds game. wakey fielding a pretty strong side v hull kr who look like fielding a lot of their new signings (and there are a lot). also hull fc in action at the unusual venue of brantingham park v london broncos (RL ground anoraks might like to tick this ground for their list). both teams may be somewhat under strength

any more this weekend?
The referee's indecision is final

Jermaine McGilvary's testimonial match, with the news surrounding the leeds legend's terrible news all others seem to have been pushed under the radar really which is good for awareness and media coverage etc but not that good for those who are trying to entice people to other games.

Numbers may be a bit down for this one as there are quite a few Salford fans in Valencia / Benidorm who booked early for the Salford v Saints pre-season friendly that got pulled!

Good luck to Fev for their game against Valencia tomorrow. There were a large number of Yorkshire folk on our flight over today so hope they get to see a good game. Believe there are 3 young Salford lads getting some game time for Valencia so will be interesting to see how they go.

I predict Salford 34 Leigh 16.

Must try harder Budgie....

Assume you were at the game and can give us a brief review on here?
Been following updates on Twitter while supping Ladrones De Manzanas in Valencia for €1.50 a pint. :DRUNK:

Edit: Believe we've just scored last minute to make your prediction even more ridiculous.

Been following it on twitter myself, not been to an away Leigh friendly for years pal.
28-14 with 4 minutes left was fine, but 40-14 sounds a lot worse !

Plenty of positives with a lob-sided end to the game.
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?
