It will be interesting to see if the rules on P&R are changed next year if TWP do get promoted.

Toronto will be in SL next season without a shadow of a doubt. The RFL have basically made this happen with the trans Atlantic final for which for some teams could be 2 or 3 jetsetting games in a matter of weeks. The final should have been a neutral venue which it always has.

Next year will be very interesting in the Championship with London no doubt coming the other way. Leigh and Toulouse will obviously go for it big time, especially if 2 go up !

I have no love for Toronto which is plain to see, but it is slightly worrying when attendances are no bigger than they were when they were in league 2 !

Wasn't last years play off final in Toronto? And we all know what happened there when Toronto were a shoe in last year.

Different format last year with it being the middle 8's.

Toronto earned the right for home advantage and like Leigh the year before, made a right mess of it.

There should be no team capable of competing with them this season.

Not really. As a RL fan, i feel we don't have the infrastructure right as an organisation and as a sport.

We are obsessed with expansion, yet still cannot deal with the heartlands and grass roots of the sport.

People in Canada and the RL population expect Toronto to be promoted and rightly so. Like Gateshead and PSG before them, would it be 'all in' or will people soon get fed up ?

I'll give you time (you might have to go back quite a bit) to find some post to that effect.What i will say is, I want to see how SL deal with Toronto "IF" they get promoted. I'm not bitter, I just couldn't give two hoots about them.

I understand that but London played them twice in Sept including the MPG so it is doable.

Hopefully they get promoted, and then they become Super League club's 'pain in the butt'. Although being 'full time' players they won't need to book 3 days off work to travel to Canada and back.
