Personally think the simple way to improve video ref decisions is to stop them slowing it down frame by frame. You can see whatever you want to see in RL going literally frame by frame to fit in the with whatever the narrative the ref sends up with try/no try.

time to bin off the try/no try lottery, let the VR make the decision if the on field ref can't! how many times does the ref just guess?

So proud of our boys again tonight, forget the knock on try, Child was never going to overturn that, you only have to look at the "play on" decision 5th tackle, when the Saints player took Joey Lussicks head off with the same video ref "seeing" nothing wrong with it.

We tried this remember- all that happened was the refs failed to make any decisions and sent everything up to the VR resulting in 2 hour long games!

In the televised NRL and the Challenge Cup games on BBC we hear the comments by the vide ref when he makes a decision.
That would have been interesting this evening

Yeah we cannot go back to that shambles. I just think people have forgotten how bad it was.

The solution is simple. If there is clear evidence like there was tonight, the video ref should have the confidence to over turn the on field decision.

It's not difficult.
