Valentine Holmes is a better winger than Thomas Makinson. Nobody can argue with that.

Thomas Makinson is a very good winger. But Valentine Holmes is the best winger in the world.

Post that in the Best Winger In The World thread. He’s done nish at international level this year, only managed to get a 6/10 rating by the Aussie press in their loss to the Kiwis

Where it says “Scored the Kangaroos’ first try, but looked out of place on the wing after a brilliant season at fullback.” so where does that fit your narrative?

I thought that Valentin Holmes try against Tonga was brilliant and marked him out once again as a marvelous winger, which he has played a lot at, as well as a full back

Peter Best, the drummer for the Beatles before Ringo Starr came along. Peter lost the chance of making hundreds of millions -- it was like losing a winning lottery ticket -- so we all feel his pain.

Thus caring people like "Bullseye," when frustrated with problems like persistent Tom Johnstone obsessives, always invoke poor Peter Best's name as he was best known -- "Pete".

According to the OED, ‘For Pete’s sake’ became a substitute for ‘For Christ’s sake’ over a century ago.

Despite what the wakefield fans, Brad Fittler and Barry McKenzie say, Tommy Makinson is still the golden boot winner. All the interviews he has given since show how humble and appreciative he is for it. Even the bbc breakfast did a nice article on him

Some wakefield fans not all.

James Tedesco was not in the Aus squad for the World Cup final as Billy Slater was FB. So apart from playing against NZ and Tonga where is the other one?

Apologies, wasn't aware, makes Fittler's rant even more pathetic then.

The Leigh and Wakefield fans mentality......

Say something negative about any other team than theirs - Its an opinion

Say something negative about Leigh and Wakefield - TROLL

Tedesco played for Italy in the world cup where he was beaten up by a team mate for trying it on with his missus.

The current Golden Boot has never had to declare for a lesser nation to get a game, or tried it on with a team mates missus.

Is this why Wakeman went missing for the Giants?

No, Wakeman was found at an all you can eat Chinese buffet in late October, it was estimated he had first gained entry around April time and refused to leave.
