He isn’t spot on. That’s the issue. Just like the salty bitter Wakefield fan above, he has no clue about what the golden boot actually means this year! Fittler, like batsman still thinks it’s rugby league equivalent of the ballon d’or which it clearly isn’t.

To only have international footy as a criteria is ridiculous. We are a sport that plays very little international games.

£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.  |

If the lack of internationals leads to an "embarrassing" choice, then have more internationals. Makinson played well at the weekend, and was solid in the other game he played. Two games in a year is a pathetic amount, but there have only been four internationals for England in 2018, with one to go.
