Top six 2005 - Trinity.

Re: Tom Johnstone : Fri Sep 14, 2018 9:49 pm
Tom Johnstone is world class. Absolutely top quality finishing tonight. To be fair he only missed out last season due to the injury but joint top try scorer in the league and if he isn’t injured after that last minute knock should go onto finish top.

The lad has got back to his best after no pre season. Coming back from a season ending injury and missing a few games whilst getting back to fitness.

I really hope we see him in a gb shirt. Hall was a really good player but Johnstone can be (if he continues on) one of those once in a generation players. Here’s hoping.

But I think we have to praise that superleague is producing some top wing talent and it should be celebrated.

His second try tonight has to be one of the finishes of the season.

The only place he'd further his career is in the NRL but he's still young and he's doing the goods with Trinity plus getting called up by England.

The injury to Ryan Hall is a real opportunity to test him out. Bennett could never really drop Hall for a test series given his performances and his record and likewise McGilvery has always shown up well. Now is the chance for him to show what he's made of.

I'd go with Johnstone & Davies as the wingers personally.
