What a shame the young French International winger, who came off the production line of top Super League club Catalans brilliant academy, has chosen to chase the big money of rugby union.

Cas also get more away fans than Catalans which means catalans crowds are even more impressive than the heartlands club, Castleford

That may be an interesting comparison.
Catalan dont do too badly for away fans and have the advantage of not having their fixtures messed up.
Cant remember too many Thurday (or Friday) night games over there and most clubs take a reasonable number of supporters over there.
(mind you, it's a cracking weekend

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

League table means nothing at that level, it’s all about how many Super League players an academy produces

I wonder how many trophies Catalan have to win until they can be classed as a top Super League club.

Maybe winning a game in the S8's would be a start?

That is why Catalans deserve to be rated among the top Super League clubs, just behind Leeds, Wigan, St. Helens, Warrington and Hull FC (the five big ones), and ahead of[b]Wakefield

5 from5 in the super 8's.......mid table canon fodder at best :SUBMISSION:

Next weeks contest (edited) between FC and Catalan should be on TV.....but only after the 9pm watershed
JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:
