If Hull KR go down, it’s only their own fault. Everyone knows the rules including the players. If you down tools at 23 rounds and don’t perform, just to blame the system, sorry no sympathy. Clearly matters to Salford more to stay in Super League.

Totally out enthused, and that’s totally unacceptable.

The qualifiers concept is a joke. I was happy Widnes got beat last night because they’re the team that should go down with them finishing bottom. Whilst we have never finished bottom we once again find ourselves scrappyimg to survive. I kinda hope we and Leeds go down together because that’s 20k fans lost to the top flight.

Beaten again by the club with the paper thin squad, no money, crowdfunding to make money and no fans when it really matters. They finish below us, but we look like we could go down... again.

The system rewards clubs that don’t aspire to be anything more than clubs that make up the numbers.

Only in Rugby League.

It's the same as any sport... what happens on the pitch is what matters the most. I just don't understand your complaint. Fanbase does not win you games. Neither does what chairman you have. I don't know why some clubs feel they are entitled to top flight rugby.

There are 6 games left yet, plenty of points to play for. Some folk are talking as if KR and Widnes are already down. Yes they both lost at home but no doubt Salford, London and whichever other teams win their opening games will go on to lose at least one game later on (the other three round one winners could all go on to lose to KR). If you find yourself bottom three after 5 games then worry but not after one game, you could still end up top of the qualifiers.

No bitterness from me, no one likes the qualifiers but the club have known it was coming all year. Signing carney seems to have been a big misfire.

You was the last game I wanted first up at home had a feeling we’d get beat even though we beat you comfortably a few weeks ago Hastings looks a good bit of business and Lui turned up last night I think the three forwards we had missing turned out to be a big miss as you beat us up really no complaints from me we were awful on the night and you played very well

Bitter at the system yes, definitely. What have I to be embarrassed about there?

People saying “bet you weren’t complaining about it last year”, well yes I was and we’d have still gone up had the proper form of promotion/relegation been in place. In fact, we’d never have gone down in the first place under the old format.

The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

Same for me I was gutted when we got you first, (was hoping we got you at the end when it was hopefully done and dusted) but interestingly on one of my many chats with Rob Lui who lives near me he was more than happy to play you first. As for Rob I can't remember a game he didn't turn up in, ok for much of the season he's had well someone different/rookie in most matches partnering him due to circumstances at the club, and has been asked to play a more structured role (which is not his game). Infact the only game I remember him being out for was the important semi final against Wigan last year.

And then there's Todd Carney I was delighted when he came to Salford but if I'm honest the only game he ever turned up in was away at Wire when he ran the show, I can't really remember anything else he ever gave us .

Anyway on to Widnes for us and good luck to your club next week.

It’s a bad concept because a team like Widnes can win 3 games out of 23 games all season and still stay in the top league when they’ve clearly been the worst team over the season. And last season too, when they should’ve gone also, as Hudds should have gone the season before and so on.

The game should have relegation. The season can still be very exciting towards the back end with one up, one down as it was for us in our maiden season. But relegation shouldn’t work like this.

Sorry don’t buy that, you all knew what you signed up for. You also have no idea how the league would have ended up looking in a one up one down scenario - how can to be sure Widnes would end up bottom!

It’s loke the LLS, if that’s what teams were playing for then why assume that’s how the league would end up looking!

Last year Cas probably wouldn’t have finished top if others teams thought you had to finish top to win.

That isn’t the system we use so stop using it as an excuse. Of you think it’s a crap system then don’t watch it, vote with your feet or put up and shut up.
