Why should I be providing a source for another poster?
Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2021!

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

this is bad news after also losing Sean Long to Quins. It's not good for the game to lose such a lot of experience. Shame they are not passing on their knowledge on to our younger blokes.. I hope Longy comes back one day but i imagine they are getting paid much more in Union

Or you could look at it that the game is losing two drug cheats

He was banned, he served his time, and he's given us 6 1/2 good years service at Salford and he'll be missed. Him and Watson have done a great job on limited resources so sad to see him go. Obviously a good financial move for him though so wish him all the best and hope it works out.

Not a Union fan but have massive respect for Dai Young after his stint at Salford.

Also think that the lack of reserve teams is having an impact for our young coaches.

Rugby Union Premiership teams have a better set up below first team level and Rugby League needs to wake up to the need to have reserve teams to stop the loss of players departing the game at 19 years of age due to lack of opportunities to play the game professionally.

Very shortsighted actions from clubs and administrators alike.

Fix it!

The Leigh and Wakefield fans mentality......

Say something negative about any other team than theirs - Its an opinion

The Wide to West Try was a right stitch up, I just don't know how Longy got away with fixing up that one
