What i hate about the commentary on sky is the chatting amongst themselves about rubbish and not the present game. Just get on with watching the game and comment on what you see.

I was watching the Wests v Storm game on Saturday morning and the commentator sounded awful. Very monotone.

Yes but was he commentating on the game though? That would be a step in the right direction.

John Kear also does it a lot on the BBC coverage. Its like they think the game is being watched by newcomers and one has to explain the basics of Rugby League.

I feel like Kear is usually explaining the rules to the rest of the BBC commentary team who seem to know very little about RL.
