I believe that i will be hit by a meteor and will obtain stretchy powers in all my limbs as a consequence. The BMA have ratfied my beliefs by not looking at the documents i have submitted to back up my beliefs.

I cannot see how a club with an 11,000 fan base can be kicked out.

However, nor can i see a justification for simply sweeping the whole mess under the carpet and forgetting it ever happened. There has to be a critical deterrent for club owners to prevent them doing what Bradford have done - without consequence. But what can that deterrent be when there is a lack of quality clubs queueing up to potentially take a place of a failed SL club? The longer term consequence of what's happened is a real headache for the RFL.

They've got a 11,000 fan base, from season tickets that are basement level cheap. Lots of clubs could do that. They've been ran pretty poorly for years now and must've known the offers would come back to hurt them.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Of course he is, he'll be currently working out how to justify the ' governance and structure ' decision by the independant  committee

What do you propose was wrong with their operating structure/governance? Especially considering the club acknowledged and accepted the challenges they face?

And what do you propose would the operating structure/governance they should have had and how would it have prevented this situation arising?

OK, i bet they have a 9,000 fan base that are prepared to pay full whack. Whatever figure we land on that's still miles more than any club that might be brought in to replace them. That's what you have in one hand. In the other you have the option to punish by relegation. To send out a stark warning to other clubs that, no matter how big and flash you were - you aren't so big that we can't despatch you to the lower leagues. The Jocks did it with Rangers and that's more financially critical than kicking the Bulls out. It's the RFL's decision ATEOTD. They'll choose to keep them in no doubt.

Believe me, the SPL will come to regret the short-sighted decision they took there.

From a business point of view for the Bulls it might be more beneficial to start lower down and build some strong foundations. If and when they do come back into Super League they could have the 'Hull KR' effect and build up some excitement about their return and get that buzz back.

Id suggest that losing hundreds of thousands a year would come under their ' structure and governance ' , so wether they were aware of challenges is irrelivant, they were already fooked

As to what they should have done about it? , admitted it and lost their licence would have been the honorable thing, but the consequenses of that is an even bigger problem, tgat is the real problem we have, and the failing of the sport

Selling season tickets for £60?
Spending £200k a month on staff costs when clearly the income wasn't sufficient?

Do you think a bad debt fairy came down to Odsal in March and sprinkled fairy debt about the place or do you think the BOD have, over a period of years lost control of financial sensibilities. Is there nothing wrong with a club that loses £100k a month?
