Care to comment on why the stadium announcer saw fit to play YNWA before the Saints game? This was a Rugby League occasion after all and not a PR exercise for LFC.
I didn't think anything the Salford fans were chanting was particulary over the top. Me and the lads and lasses I went with had some great banter with a group of your fans who were sat on the same row as us in the Kop.
As for playing YNWA, there was no need for it. That was obviously to wind-up the many Everton and Man Utd fans who would've been in attendance. I'm a Blue and hate that song and peed off down to the concourse as soon as I heard it coming on. As a Saints fan I had a great day but for that hearing that dirge.
