OP is obviously a troll but whatever

But seeing as he mentions Wakey - I'm just glad we have a sponsorship deal at all and I have no idea how much it is worth. Our previous main sponsor went down owing ~£50m in VAT which lead us to getting in another sponsor at short notice for last season. So in that respect we are on the up.

In early years of superleague we were actually sponsored by Sainsbury's, but that doesn't mean it was a big deal in monetary value, despite it being with a "household name"

Campaigning for a deep attacking line

RL clubs generally have smaller sponsors because most of the time that sponsor is only being seen by people who attend the game. Especially with the "smaller" clubs who don't get on Sky as often.
So it's more worthwhile for, say, Leeds Building Society to sponsor Leeds and market directly to its main area of business and a good proportion of its potential customers than it is for say Vodafone to spend the same amount of money whilst only getting to a small proportion of its potential customers.

The direct opposite to the likes of Man Utd who's sponsors aren't aiming at the people in the ground but at the millions of people watching on TV.

Word on the street is that Hulls away shirt doesn't have a sponsor at all but instead has Steve Prescott Foundation across the front.

Stobart are a huge international company. Look how that turned out.

It's not about the name, it's about the best deal for the club.

At the Bulls we're sponsored by provident, apparently one of the biggest sponsorship deals we've ever had, but they are also a very active sponsor. Sponsoring many community events we do.

Not sure why you'd ask a Warriors fan. We're only tenants at the stadium. We are also looking to either get the facilities upgraded, or we may look at moving, because councils such as Wellington have made us offers to base ourselves there.
To answer the OP. The sponsors below all have affiliations or connections with the team they sponsor, with a couple of exceptions. Emirates were involved with Leigh a few years back IIRC and there is obviously a RL champion in there.....Coral who are a sports betting company. As other have said, as long as they pay to have their brand associated with RL, it's all good.

‎"They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.

Hull KR are sponsored by Clearsky who along with Parasol form the Optionis group. Last year they had a turnover of 335 million (not exactly a small company.) The link is our Vice Chairman who is Rob Crossland the chief executive of optionis group.

Rob founded Parasol in April 2000 after a career in the IT industry, working for a range of software suppliers. Rob was also a freelance contractor himself which allowed him to spot an opportunity for a business that employed contractors rather than them having to fend for themselves. Rob grew Parasol into one of the fastest growing UK companies before leading a MBO in November 2006. In his spare time Rob is vice chairman of Hull Kingston Rovers, and is also a keen Manchester City fan – neither of which should be held against him.

I thought Rovers' new shirt sponsors were Malcolm West Forklifts?
