Further to the rumour last week regarding Kheirallah, I've just been told that Jonathan Ford has now left Toulouse ?? Apparently it has been reported on Twitter but I've just googled it but can't find anything, so has anyone else heard this ??

Found this on the Hull Daily Mail site....
By mutual agreement, Toulouse Olympique XIII and Johnathon Ford have decided to terminate the player's engagement with immediate effect.
The Australian half leaves the club for family and personal reasons.
During his eleven seasons at the TO, Johno played 190 games and scored 53 tries. As captain in 2021, he was a real leader and was able to get the best out of his teammates, which made him grow and earned him the title of Championship best player for the 2021 season according to the poll. annual report of the English daily newspaper League Express.
The entire Toulouse Olympique team is grateful for his contribution to the club's history and wishes him the best for the future.

The six nations didn’t help because England for example are going to France and Italy without their unvaccinated players. They have an entire league to cover their absences we do not plus MC is correct we play them in the second game but the longer the season goes the more chance that France will remove the restrictions.

Poor Bloke did all the hard yards in the championship and and finally gets a crack at super league and this happens...
surely they cant compete against super league sides and will go straight back down.
if i was wakey i would look at ford - he can play anywhere from 1 back row ,halfs ,centre ,fullback but i think he might be a quota spot ?
I think your sympathies might be somewhat misplaced here, if it's covid related won't Wakefield have the same problem as Toulouse ? Incidentally due to the uncertainty over the league format next season I'll settle for them going straight back down.

Could be an opening for Rocky
Unlikely I would say given these lads are leaving due to the issues around their anti vax stance which I believe Rocky potentially shares.
Any team being weakened, particularly ones at the lower end of the table, by departures is good for the Trinity but I must confess I think it is a shame it is over something like this. Ford has been their talisman for a number of years. I was really looking forward to seeing how he coped with the step up as he is in my opinion a really quality operator.
They are not going to be in a position to replace these lads at shot term either so I would expect Giggot to be given a run at 6.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
