Someone pointed out very well that when Flanagan went off we were dominated around the ruck. I said this at the time and I think, for his flaws, that is where hallas would have plug the gap.

We need someone else to take on all those tackles hallas covered which is some ask

Sam Hallas who played Hooker twice in 2021?
We missed Doyle on Sunday. Hallas was poor in 2021.

Hallas was more effective at loose forward IMO, as a hooker he was too slow and his passing wasn't great. As has been said he did a lot of work and that now falls to others. I think Evans is more effective at loose than Baldwinson but it's still early days.

It's a big year for Doyle. Flanagan is probably in his last year. I can see young Johnson getting game time with us, especially if we get injuries or George has one of his brain explosions.

Well that's the dilemma. Play in your home town at an absolutely substandard dive, or play in someone else's town at a fit for purpose stadium. I can see why people see it from both sides. Odsal is currently an utter disgrace unbefitting even a lowly club such as us. But there's buggerall we can do about it!

What’s our average attendance going to be? 3000ish? Be a banging atmosphere at Horsfall with that many people in.

Even if it’s just while Odsal is made to look more like something akin to semi professional sport.

We could end up there yet Keith. Think there's a decision due about Odsal before the end of the season. I expect we'll remain there with Nigel and the RFL kicking the can down the road for a few years.

Shame we can't afford to share with BCFC. I never thought I'd say that.

Hallas was poor at hooker especially in attack but the point is his defence was usually solid.

Vs Leeds we saw our deep field defence opened up time after time in that second half. Although I thought the goal line defence was superb.

As with pretty much all championship sides, we’ve got a solid first starting side but with our usual injuries we are going to be reliant on our super league chums

I think people need to understand that Bradford bulls are a mid table championship team, all these imperfections people are talking about need to understand AND ACCEPT THAT BRADFORD BULLS ARE A MID TABLE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM, NOT A TEAM COMPETING WITH TOP TEAMS IN SUPERLEAGUE, them days have gone

I can only speak for me personally, I know we are nowhere near a tilt at promotion this season but feel I am able to point out flaws in our game. I'm well aware of where we are.

We did get dominated around the ruck when flanagan went off that's a fact.

WHich age group is Flanagan Jr playing in?

An excessive amount of capital letters to raise a point that everyone on here is acutely aware of.

I’m not sure if by “imperfections” you mean the comments on the team or the ground?

Do you think we’re in line with a mid table championship side in terms of the state of our ground?

GF Jnr has just left school and is playing in the scholarship team according to the Bulls website. Very talented player who will hopefully break into the Academy/First Team in the coming years.
