Just from our own squad and his consistency and minutes in the friendlies, I think Wallace has pushed ahead of Murphy for a 2nd row spot, at least to begin with.

Maybe so. We did get run ragged a few times down that edge but 10 mins of that was when we lost MDJ and we had to reshuffle. Think Wallace has been solid and that's what we need. I imagine Dewsbury will be planning to attack that edge.

Given how Fleming performed in two preseasons and then missed out on Leeds through COVID I'd like to see him get in that 17 man squad this week, didn't have the best of seasons for us last year but looks like he's put in some graft over the winter break. Made some strong carries and big tackles in them first 2 games

Having Fleming on the bench with Scurr, Baldwinson and Flanagan gives us a lot of impact. The only concern is that if we lost a back to injury we've got nobody we can move out of the pack that's got that kind of versatility.
