'League is much much more physical than Union, and thats before they start breaking the rules' - Adrian Hadley

Fans Meeting Monday : Wed Jun 27, 2012 6:39 pm
A few from `the firm` on facebook have managed to get the Coral stand at 7.00pm on Monday night for a meeting between fans.

Im presuming it's to discuss the current situation and see if there's anything anyone of us can do to help. They've confirmed the bar will be open for us and are letting us use the room free of charge.

I understand they are also trying to contact bullbuilder to see if someone from there can come.

If there is a clear plan that would help the club then I would attend, I just don't see what the fans can do to help now other than hope for the best.

I think the idea of a supporter lead ownership is a nice thought but totally unrealistic at this moment. So what is the plan?

Before I decide whether to attend I'd really need to know a bit more.

For example who is actually arranging this / running the meeting etc? What's the 'agenda'? What is the hoped-for outcome of such a meeting?

I'm not going if its just going to be a whole load of people ranting about the shortcomings of Hood / Caisley etc. We have this forum to serve that purpose :P

I agree and have expressed my concerns.. I'm just reading through everything i can find at the moment. Looking at how its been organised and the comments of attendees its to look at putting something in place for the future.. i know we have bull builder but something with more clout so that if something along these lines happens again we as supporters may be able to help.

Ill put your comments to them and give you a response as soon as i get one

Looks like quite a few people going & the focus of the meeting is to try and form a supporters' trust of some kind and see if theres anything any one can do to help.

Not sure what you're hoping to gain from setting up a supporters trust. There is already one in existence that has places available on the board for anyone who wants to offer their services.

The Bulls will be long gone by the time you have gone through all the various legalities that need to be followed and a bank account opened. I know everyone is feeling pretty desperate and eager to try help but perhaps some sort of plan needs to be put forward first. I can't think of a realistic one, but I am open to being convinced there is something we could do.

Iv thought the same however, people obviously feel they can do something to help, so ill listen to what they have to say.

It's Official - "Homer Simpson is a Leeds Fan"

"Super League bosses will allow Bradford Bulls to finish the season as a new company even if the club goes into liquidation in the coming weeks. "

How can they make that statement, when we dont even know if there will be a Newco, and the Newco will also need to fund losses for the next 12 months plus until the wage bill is cut.

Becouse they are giving us every opportunity to sort ourselves out in these financially hard times! Which I would expect them to do for every club in RL who find themselves in hardship!

Plus sorting out all points lost and gained from us would be a nightmare to sort out!
