How do you hear so much?

Seems like your source is the ever reliable Mr Shaw, the anti Bradford journo.

Fairly certain Shaw hasn’t mentioned him?

Looked a good player at Hull but can't remember the last time I saw him play.

I'd quite like to see Mikey Wood back at the club. He never let us down during his time at the club and was really starting to establish himself as a key member of the team when he got let go. For me, letting him go was a mistake.
Don't think i'm biased...

I agree. He always gave 100% and improved a lot while he was with us. He can play prop or back row too. The only thing is that he's at big spending Newcastle who are aiming to finish in the top 4. If his place isn't under threat there I can't see him coming back.

I think Newcastle let him go to Hunslet earlier this year. I personally don't think he's better than what we have at the moment.

I would see Mikey Wood as a direct replacement for Sam Hallas should he leave. Both players of a similar mold and ability.

I'd imagine Ben Evans will take the 13 role with Crossley/Walker/Baldwinson/Kibula being the rotating props. And anymore that come in or re-sign.

They'll probably still be one or two surprise in comings i'd imagine. No one had any idea of Patton and Kibula. I am happy with our recruitment so far though.

Kibula has always struck me as a forward that doesn't do long periods. We definitely need another prop, even if Scurr stays.
