Simple question really. I'm new to RL and NRL is obviously fun to watch. However 9 professional teams just in Sydney? How is that even possible, plus you have AFL and every other pro sport based there. Seems impressive!

Large Junior development. Something we need to do here on a much bigger scale than we do now.
The problem we have in this country is that some clubs, not all are happy to sign a has been or never was player from the NRL rather that get serious about junior development.

The same way London has 7 Premier League teams.
Chelsea. Location: West London. Stadium: Stamford Bridge. ...
Crystal Palace. Location: South London (Croydon) ...
Arsenal. Location: North London. ...
Tottenham. Location: North London. ...
Fulham. Location: West London. ...
Brentford. Location: West London. ...
West Ham. Location: East London.
Sydney has a population of over 5 million over quite a large area. Rugby League is the 2nd biggest sport in Australia
