A sad day for Women's Rugby League, St Helens star and former Wigan and England legend Gemma Walsh makes the call to retire after 21 years in the sport! Walsh was set to play alongside wife Emily Rudge (pictured left) at St Helens in the 2020 season that unfortunately never was.
Walsh picked up an injury in pre-season and decided that this was the right time to call her playing career, she leaves behind a legacy as a; pioneer, captain and champion, Congratulations Gemma on a great career.
