An old bloke in the stand near us asked when we signed this Flannery. I told him he'd been here a good while and he swore blind he'd never played for Saints before tonight.

Superb stuff from him tonight. His effort is always there to be fair to him, but tonight he had a lot of threat with ball in hand.

He showed spells of that last season to be fair. The set up for Roby's try was pure class. Ran the angle as a great dummy and made a world cup player look silly Leeds fans take note

To be fair the ball that put him through was fricken awesome. I was looking at the player next to him thinking that was where the ball had gone and all of a sudden Flannery was through. Brilliant line though. The line running was the difference in the 2 tonight IMO.

thats what I was saying before about breaking leed's line. You tried and maintained the line run yourselves but never gained ground from it cause our defense closed you down. Can honestly say iot was close on that respect tonight. Thats where Potter has improved our defense.

Great performance from Flannery. He made plenty of yards, a couple of breaks and was solid in defence as usual.
