I don’t think we’ll see anything like a proper first team squad until the Hull KR game, Id also expect us to see us use short kick offs aplenty judging by Rohan Smith’s comments.
I also think the only pre season game we will win this year will be against Bradford.
Yeah I think the practice for contested restarts will continue with the tactics of when they'll be used (and when not) only becoming clear as the competition starts. Ie if we're 4 up with 10 to go in a league game I'd imagine the ball will go long, but not in preseason.
Leigh played with far more intensity than us and we were swapping players in and out of position all game so not sure what to take from it, Holroyd was very good.

Both teams made plenty of changes during the game, we had a few first choice players missing , and didn’t get many penalties, all in all a good run out ,loved the Leeds fans chanting what a waste of money, at Hardaker, just before he scored the winning try .

I meant I don’t know what we can get out of it as Leeds fans, I haven’t got a clue whether you players changed positions or not because i was concentrating on our players.
We were unusually well disciplined which was a surprise and why we didn’t give away penalties.
Hardaker has plenty of time to prove the Leeds fans right
Oh and the other thing, that kit is even worse in the flesh so to speak.
