Me too. He's still pretty green but that's almost a good thing providing we're taking a long term view. Bring him on the same as we have Mik and we might have a very decent prop on our hands.
Be just our luck to find Catalans have signed him as Sangare's replacement...
Given how prior is sadly deteriorating rapidly and he's considered prop 3 at least, do we not need another prop of a better calibre than another 5th/6th choice? 1-Oledzki 2-Tetevano (seems to be getting the Rohan effect) 3? 4/5-Holroyd/sangare 6-prior/Walters (Mcdonell maybe being looked at for prop too, anyone know how he went last night?)
Aydin would be competing down the lower end of the order for game time and we've too many down there, a waste of cap for me.

I thought Mcdonell was more a second row/centre than second row/prop but could be wrong. Assuming we go with a four prop rotation most weeks there’s definitely room for another prop. I think Aydin could be at the top end of what we can manage without Prior calling it a day. I also wouldn’t have minded keeping mustapha but I agree in that neither of them are front line level. There’s hope Sangare and/or Holroyd can fill that 3rd spot but in Holroyds case especially does appear a risk.
We absolutely can not rely on Holroyd as part of the 4 prop rotation. And Walters is still a transition project. Given that we've spent all season missing at least 2 props every match, we need a minimum of 6. If we're including Holroyd, then we need 7. 1 - Mik 2 - Tet 3 - Prior (or replacement) 4 - Sangare 5 - ? 6 - Holroyd 7 - Walters

On the evidence of this year and future potential to improve, even if there's no more recruitment at prop, sangare and Walters are further up than prior (with Holroyd hopefully so too)

I agree Seth. Sangare will get plenty of game time next season. And if Walters continues to improve, he could be a very handy prop in 2-3 years. As and when Prior calls it a day, we need to replace him with a top quality prop.
Not sure Rohan's all that fixated on a four prop rotation. I mean I'm sure he'd be happy to but if the right player at the right price isn't available then he'll have made sure he's running with a squad he's confident will adapt and cope. Don't see him being held to ransom or putting all recruitment on hold while he tries to land a big unit on a big deal.
We definitely shouldn't be signing players to make up the numbers. I don't see the point of signing another prop unless they're going to seriously improve our front row. We need a quality addition there to really push us up a level, but if the right player isn't available I'd rather save the cap for a mid-season signing.
