Another biscuit bones. Hardly played for two years and out all season. Hope for him he can be relatively injury free after this, but some players bodies just cannot hold up.

And there lies the problem.
He needs to get his upper body strength up to play SL something that amazes me about Myler who is not exactly Mr Universe.
Either that or Walker is going to be one of those who had the potential but injuries prevented him achieving it a bit like Ward.
I hope he does get back fit again and cements his place as our FB for many years to come but I do have my doubts.

How many said the same thing about Watkins or even Burrows come to think of it. Size and bulk are not the be all and end all, some can take it and some can't. Never thought Ward would end the way he did either

Walters, Edwards, Gannon not enough? Oli Field plus another couple coming through in the next couple of years too. Leeds have their best ever pack in the making here.

Just hope we get better luck with injuries. I’m minded of JJB who had terrible groin problems early on but ended up being a total stalwart.

I think Shabino means quality now. I do agree in a few years time our second row looks very exciting providing we can keep all the above. I am hoping when Gale returns he will give better balls
to Mellor Walters and Martin.

Yeah you understand what I mean. Agree future rosy but those three young lads are nowhere near the quality of say Bateman /Farrell. Martin and Mellor are nowhere. Stevie was our best BR by some distance....
Also think we can't get carried away with the young talent. I would say still not clear just how good they'll end up being. Injuries and mental strength will decide.

Bateman and Farrell are probably the best second row pairiing in SL where Wigan are not has strong is probably front row. In a salary capped sport its very hard to be strong in every position.

Yeah that's really true. Think we just expect every Leeds team to have class in every position, like we were used to for so long...!
