On a side note, thought Ferres looked in better shape than the last couple of years we had him. Noticibly trimmed down. Pretty damning incitement of our conditioners when he'll probably just have been home training for last few months.

I know its the order of the day to automatically dis the club round here but Ferres was plagued with a reoccurring knee injury for a few years where he couldn’t even train properly for the majority of the time he was with us.

See above he had a knee injury which he finally got sorted last year, that’s why he looked in better shape.

Didn't strike me as being any bigger or smaller it was just nice to see him concentrate on getting the basics right.

If Alex Sutcliffe has been banned for the completely accidental "crusher" tackle I'm thinking of then I completely give up with the interpretation of that "rule".

Has Dwyer been banned for that shoulder charge on the kicker?

That should have been handled at the game. The ref was blind there.

The Sutcliffe one is ridiculous though. Absolutely no chance of effecting that differently. It was viewed by the video live at the time also, who clearly felt the same way.

Just destroying this game.
