One interesting thing about Donaldson, he's probably had the longest run without any injury for many years. Good value for me, and I'd keep as a squad player.

I'm with you on this I don't want an average player (can't fault his enthusiasm)blocking the way of Walters and Trout.If Ward can stay fit and the added signing of Mellor I'm not convinced Donaldson is needed.

Disagree. Cummins was a very naturally talented footballer with a heart like a pea. Handley gives the impression he will run through a brick wall if necessary & has got where he is through effort. I think he is deceptively strong & will end up a much bigger unit as they say.

The available position though is starting hooker, not a bench spot which is where Dwyer is effective. We can't go back to having him start.

IMO Lunt will be starting 9 next season and Dwyer will be off the Bench (Hence his 1 year deal)
Corey Johnson will be out on dual reg for a season of grown mens footy

Maybe Leeds have a new starting 9 lined up for 2021(or are actively looking for one) with Johnson as inter change

It's a big if. Ward probably won't stay fit, so having a solid and reliable but cheap option is a no brainer for me

Maybe not but that injury to Ward would have been the same if any player had been involved.For mine it was just bad luck. Ideally Walters will be integrated into first team action next season.

Back to Handley; he’s been looking very good since he signed the new deal. Still young enough to improve.
