Interesting that Corey was subbed early. Sure the game was won and it was a chance to get Oli Burton some game time but it could also be keep him injury free for a go at Wakey next week. We will see.

Great performance wasn’t it? Echo what you guys are saying about Broadbent, he is showing some real quality. Unlucky with the missed intercept too.

Muizz must be close to first team. Trout and Walters good in patches and what a good combination those lads could be in a few years.

McConnell impressed me too.

Be interesting to see who is fit and who Rob selects for Wigan

Trout, Johnson and McLelland are all set in the much-changed Fev squad for the 1895 Cup game at Widnes on Wednesday (along with Wellington Albert).

Glad to see Broadbent has been playing well, felt for him as he had a nightmare for Fev against Toronto when he bombed three tries (well, one was a very difficult opportunity but the other two were walk-ins). He was playing on the wing with Luke Briscoe injured but like Newman I'm sure he's an out-and-out centre.

19s currently 18-0 down to Wigan at HT. As convincing as score suggests too

Finished 24-10. At least we won the 2nd half. Was Holroyd injured again?

Wigan was too clinical today in horrific conditions but team never gave in and kept at it. Our last tackle plays was as bad as the weather today. McConnell prob our best along with McLelland, Joe Burton and Whitton but like I say Wigan too good today and deserved their win.

Holroyd got injured 15 mins into his 1st game back at Saints. He has broken a bone in his foot. Out for another month at least. 2 weeks in a boot and 2 weeks rehab after that.
