...yeah, Salford have been superb against poor opposition. You can't compare Huddersfield/London with Warrington/Wigan.

Just seen there's some kind of fair going on on the Sunday which will take up the usual car park at the AJB - anyone know where else there is to park?

I dunno, I think Saints, Warrington and Wigan have looked pretty good in the opening rounds but it's often a fairly even playing field at this stage in a season. When injuries start kicking in and the weekly grind, it tends to sort the wheat from the chaff a bit more.
Right now Salford are dangerous and we're more chaff than wheat. I get a bit bored seeing the same things after every poor performance (going back in time) - along the lines of "if we stop making errors and giving silly penalties away, then..." Well we keep doing it. Really good players don't make so many mistakes and they win penalties, that's one of the differences isn't it?
Because we lack some firepower in the pack, we need to play smart and tight with good skill to be competitive. What we can't do is get rolled up front and then proceed to kick the ball out on the full and drop the ball.
Anyway Leeds have been showing some signs of life under the new regime, so let's hope we're at least close to a result this weekend and then can start building confidence and morale up to Saints and Wakefield.

Dave Furner says in YEP he expects to name an unchanged 17 for Sunday's game if everyone gets through captains run Saturday, That means Merrin probably still at prop where he is not as affective and we'll still be light with Singleton probaly not playing, i hope we can take some of the good stuff we produced offensively and defensively from Wigan game and use it for most of the 80 minutes this week, i think it will be a close game Sunday and I hope we have abit more class to get us over the line agaisnt Salford. Gonna go for 20-18 Leeds win.

Another defeat on the cards , even if we match their pack there is a gulf in class in the half backs , though hopefully we could get closer this week

I think Singleton for Oledzki as the only change.
Not sure we can let Singleton leave just yet especially as we are far too light at prop as it is.
