Fev are basically Leeds "A". I don't blame Fev for taking advantage of the system given their financial situation but I think it devalues them and the championship to have ringers dropping in like this.

I’m not too upset that he might be dropped, except that he’s in a position we are so weak in. He’s good when he’s good but too often isn’t. Had injuries last year though I think.

Makes Hetherington's claim that the U19s are the Leeds reserves look a little fanciful when internationals are sent on dual reg.

It could be down to anything, but I wasn’t too impressed with Singleton last week. Furner’s maybe just putting a marker down early of what he expects.
If Singo is dropped though it looks nailed on that Merrin is in at prop again, at least for a stint.

No problem with Furners approach but if he sticks to it Ferres should be in the Wheelie Bins at Kirkstall not starting tonight.

Good selection other than Merrin at prop again. Interested to see how Dwyer and Peteru get on in starting lineup.
Dwyer looked pretty sharp last week when he came on.
