Listening to Phil Hay again yesterday, he wasn't convinced Leeds would bring in a forward after missing out on CDK, however thinks Bamford injury scare should push them into action... he's unsure if the left back position will be added to.. I mean what on earth are Radrizanni and Orta doing...... have they learnt nothing from last year... utter negligence.

The 'ambition' does seem purely limited to doing just enough to keep them in the prem whilst balancing the books. The team hasn't been strengthened overall from last year considering those that have left.

I think Midfield has Seth (we're up by 2 in that area and Aaronson has improved us in the final 3rd, but appreciate weve lost one of England's best midfielders), but rest of the team, i agree, when you look at losing the goals and brilliance of Raphinha. They've not invested any 'new' money into the team when you look at it at present..

All the 'Bielsa was hard to recruit for' mantra we heard last year is looking complete folly... it's now 'we don't want to block Geldhart development'.... the left back position is even more baffling.. they may well sort both before 1st Sept, but it should have been done before now.

Absolutely agree that LB is a major concern.
Unless they`re hoping either Struijk can see it through until Firpo is back and Firpo can hold his own until Dallas is back.
Both high risk strategies if true in order to save 10 million quid.
Striker and LB required of a decent standard.

bielsa refused to sign anyone. turned money down. turned signings down.
that comes from someone on the first team coaching staff.

however I agree that we need a striker and left back and given weve spent next to nothing I cant see why we havent

When you think we were trying to sign a striker for 35 million then we must have some money available.
Maybe the Board are waiting for the right players as I do think we will sign a striker and hope we also sign a LB.

perhaps players are lined up?
let's give it till the end of the window. for me a left back is more vital than a striker

Next to nothing? Aren’t we one of the highest spenders in Europe so far this summer?

Agree we need to strengthen tho, as Bamford and Firpo are too injury prone

net spend is about £3m.
we brought in around £100m for Phillip's and raphina. the £140m or whatever it is from the premier league/sky is virtually untouched
