Surely that's more to do with the man marking approach which was mega found out, once Jesse came in the defence leaked less goals. The defensive players may be more than capable in the new defensive strategy once settled together, agree that LB should be strenghtened but Firpo may come good

It was a new back 4 as well don’t forget. Koch has barely played at the back and Rasmus is new to the team

2 points dropped. totally dominant but jesse left the sibs way too long. allowed Southampton to get a foothold they never deserved.
still 4 points from 2 games and looking far better than last year.

Agree fully Tad. Disappointing to not get the win from 2-0 up against a team well out of form. By all accounts Rasmus was poor today, he’s getting left isolated though. Bamford injury not a bad one but surely this shows the owners they can’t mess about now, also please please please for god sake get a good left back. If we don’t we’ll keep conceding too many

Like you say though, 4 points from first 2 games is good.

Definitely 2 points dropped. But an ok result.
We're playing well against teams who finished above us last year, so doing alright. Could be worse, could be Man Utd.
Good to see Rodrigo getting the goals in. We'll hopefully see a couple of new faces before the window closes.

Yes Rasmus poor today and missed a sitter early on.
Rocca so so Dan James absolutely dreadful and Harrison should have covered for their equaliser.
But he should have been subbed as he was shot.
More JM`s fault than Harrison as subs should have been on to play out the game.

Sounds like Bamford injury only minor which is good news. Good article from Phil Hay today about why Leeds should be bringing in a good striker and not doing so impacts the system especially when Bamford doesn't play leaving us exposed in transition.

For me, if the club don't adequately recruit in that position i think this should be Radrizani's last season as owner... it would be sheer incompetence. Same for Orta.

Was Joffy injured hence not in the squad?
