no they havent. I do think llorente and struijk or cooper is a better pairing.

I think Adam's looked quality and the new recruits will be better for the game time

I’m still unsure who our best 2 at the back are. Coops is probably the best organiser but he’s not great on the ball. I’d still give Koch a good few games there, Germany certainly rate him.

We look like we’ve bought well. Need to have a good luck at Sinisterra though, he’s not had the best pre season.

Listening to Phil Hay today and he was saying they’re not close to bringing in a left back or a striker. Massively went chips in for CDK but not found anyone they’re fully sold on yet. Let’s hope they don’t get complacent again. Don’t want to block Joffy progress but they can’t just have Bamford and Joffy otherwise it’s asking for trouble. Apparently Marsch doesn’t want a lot of money spent at LB, thinks Firpo is his man (baffling)

Good to get the win. Only another 10 or so to find.

Still some signings to make, but also some players to come back into the squad
Ayling
Dallas
Firpo
Cooper
Sinestra
James

Still a striker light though
Foreshaw

not sure cresswell is ready for a full season at this level. 2 right footers dont help.
I thought harrison was good today. def should have had a penalty

Watched it again and Harrison better than I thought.
Sadly I have this mental block on Harrison and I look for his faults as opposed to his positives.
Hopefully Cresswell will take the centre half birth from Cooper or Llorente next year.
All the new lads did well yesterday in an ER cauldron.
Fingers crossed we get 3 points next week.

Cooper, James, Sinesterra and Foreshaw back for this weekend. Still all quiet on the striker front though.... appreciate they need to get the right player in and not rush but it's taking a bl*ody long time now..

Striker and LB just as much a priority for me.
Charlie Taylor at Burnley would do a job and wouldn`t cost us much I`m guessing.
Everton getting a couple of decent centre halves in Tarkowski and Coadey and it`s not cost them a transfer fee.

Can't understand why we didn't go in for either of Tarkowski or Coady, both are better than Cooper, Koch, Struyik imo. Though Struyik is only young.

Left back is a really easy position to improve, cant believe given Firpo injury record these last 2 years they think they are well off in that area, it's clearly not true. The owners are showing they don't have much money to spend imo, net spend is around +£2m profit as it stands (appreciated not all money is paid up front). They've put all their eggs in the basket for CDK and now are having to take an age to scout others which now may be to late...

Agree with all that mate.
It`s not as if Firpo looked any good when he was playing.
Always likely to get booked/sent off or is injured =liability
I would swap all our centre half options for the 2 Everton signed.

Interesting considering all the goals leaked last year that defence hasn't even been mentioned in recruitment.

Agree Seth, they've only looked at the right back position. I suppose one line of thinking is that Koch will be there more often now rather than midfield, Koch does have good pedigree but he's rusty and it's a gamble given his injuries..
