To be fair I’m not too fussed about Phillips, given 3 4 1 2 that is the usual formation for Marsh sides, getting 50-60m for Phillips is good business, he’s not been the same since returning from injury and he does deserve the opportunity to challenge on the big stage.

Yeah it's difficult to turn that down. But he's a big part of the club, he connects with the fans, plays at 100% every single time which is near impossible to replace imo. Leeds need to negotiate hard here, bare min should be £55m.

It'll be very interesting to see who they bring in if it happens. I actually think Raphinha stays now.. surely we don't sell both in the same window.

After Phillips performance last night I think he`s knocked 10 mill off his value.
Having said that the team as a whole was rubbish.

Do you think we`ve missed a trick not getting Henderson on loan this season with a view to buying him for £20m next year?
Or do you think it would tee Messlier off if he`s not playing every week?

It's a real tricky one that because Henderson is better than Messlier, but Messlier is in my opionion one of the best young keepers in Europe for his age and you don't want to stop that development. Having said that, Henderson is top drawer and we do need experience cover without a doubt but would Henderson be content in not being guaranteed No1 ? i'm not so sure..
