We’re linked with some quality so fingers crossed. Regarding the fee don’t forget he’s 27 not 22. Also he only wanted to go to City. I don’t think it’s that bad. Like Jack said it’s who we bring in now that’s key.

On the face of it, the fee may be lower than expected but I could imagine the club didn't want to draw it out longer than needed. Seems like teams are getting business done early with the short off season. Maybe the club need to move quickly on their targets and haggling for an extra £5-10 million for KP would end up costing more if they miss out. We will see.

I think that's right re getting the deal done quickly which in turn gives us time and money to get our recruitment done before pre season.
I suppose the frustration is that Rice is now allegedly worth twice the amount of Phillips and some fans think we should have got at least 60 million for KP.
I reckon we will hold out for 60 million for Rapha.

Agree. I think the club have been very very honourable to Phillips. They deserve some credit for that. Just hope we get recruitment right now. It’s a big big few weeks. Get it wrong could be behind the 8 ball from the start

Camara is an interesting one. a lot really raving about him and some credible news reports saying Leeds are close to bringing him in for around £30m but i'm yet to see any of the real big hitters saying a deal is close (fab romano etc). if we brought in all those, that's great business. Just hope Raphinha saga doesn't drag on too much now. His replacement coming in soon is important as will need time to adapt and get on the Aus tour.

Nice words from Kalvin this morning too, especially about Bielsa and lovely words about Marsch too... hope fans take note.

Luis Sinisterra now in the picture according to Fab Romano, 23 years old Columbian, winger, Feyenoord. He's saying we have agreed personal terms. 12 goals i belive last season.

He's box office. I still think Gadkpo would be a better fit, but this guy is slightly cheaper, but would still be great.

It sounds like Tyler Adams for £12m is the deal we'll make. I think he's very average, but £12m is an excellent price. Surely, it's too much to expect Camera as well?

From what I've seen and read about Adams he looks a good buy for £20m. He plays at a higher level than Camara too in all fairness but both look good. Obviously its a gamble, he's no KP as yet. Personally I'd like Camara as well but that's 3 DM players who would want to start so difficult to fit all in and keep happy.

i'd sooner them spend the money on a top attacking player who can play up front. Adams and Sinisterra have been bought with the Phillips money, that leaves £60/65m of Raph money to seriously go for someone good in that position and have plenty left over.

I still think we're short on cover at LB (unless he plays Ayling there) and need a back up Keeper.
