After todays Premier League play off final I feel sorry for Carlos Corberan as he has very strong LUFC ties, but surely his credentials will have risen far higher after his work this season than being manager of the "Dog Botherer's" for much longer

Interesting how Corberan had to change his Bielsa style of football after they were nearly relegated in his first season. The new style almost got them promoted.

He's a very smart new head coach is Carlos Corberan. He has clearly learned a great deal from Bielsa but he also had the nous to change things to improve that club in season 2. I'll be honest and say that I thought that he would ultimately be Bielsa's replacement at Leeds. Perhaps the 49ers influence changed that?

Yes possibly. Saying that Leeds needed a coach quickly to replace Bielsa and Corberan due to his success was only going to be available if either Huddersfield were nowhere near the play offs or we were safe from relegation. Neither of those scenarios happened hence the appointment of JM.

I believe that the 49 er's have been calling the shots for a while now behind the scenes and more so when Leeds were struggling results wise and were getting dragged into a relegation fight, As they want to Invest cash / buy the club whilst they are still in the PL. This will make far more sense when this scenario pans out and they either just invest more cash or completely take over the ownership of the club. But In my opinion it will be the latter and that they will soon become the major stakeholders or owners outright

Whilst it is always good to have some big players taking over the club. I get the impression they are never going to invest hefty amounts of money unlike the Aston Villa, MU, Newcastle and Chelsea`s of this world. The likelihood is we will always be in or around 12th down to 18th each year.
