It's also worth noting that the two points that drew them level came after Walker had the ball punched out of his arms and should have been a Leeds penalty. But of course if Ferres hadn't given away yet another dumb penalty that wouldn't have mattered.

You will have also have seen the third Leeds try should never have been given and it was a clear knock on by Hall that the ref gave a strip for. The penalty near your line against PP was a joke. Swings and roundabouts open both eyes but for the post you got a point just!

Wasnt the hall ‘strip’ in the second half? And he gave it for interferance not a strip, unless im thinking about a different one.

Why should the 3rd leeds try never have been given?

What I saw for Leeds third try was Moon passing the ball and then carrying on his running line - what's he supposed to do? Disappear? He made no attempt to obstruct anyone and he's perfectly entitles to carry on running his line anyway as he was carrying the ball - happens all the time in open play. And anyway that's a judgment call, a player clearly not grounding the ball after clearly knocking it on is a matter of fact.

What's the Hall penalty got to do with anything? If you are going to get nit picky about every decision then Leeds should have had a penalty when Walker clearly had the ball deliberately punched out of his arms. But no, it was a scrum and a couple of plays later you got the penalty that leveled the match.

Nope. Handley ran behind moon who prevented lyne from making the tackle. You shouldn’t even been in the position in any event cos ferres trapped lynes arm in the tackle and Hicks gave you a penalty

it shouldn't have been a penalty but you got a scrum when the ball was knocked out of walkers hands. you scored off it. but obstruction? no

The Walker one hicks said it got knocked out in the act of making the tackle. The ball steal on hall was a clear knock on and enabled you to get out to an 8 point lead.

As for obstruction, there was enough in it for the touch judge to suggest it be sent to the VR. Hicks could have ruled a try on the field if he thought it was but sent it up to make sure given his touch judge advice.

As stated I don’t think the hall one was a ball steal he gave it for interference at the ruck.
