The Performance squad has now been reduced to 24 players, the team for the upcoming tests against france will be picked from this.

Leeds have 5 Players in the 24 man squad

Tom Holdroyd
Brad Martin
Harvey Spence
Corey Johnson
Jack Broadbent

Well done lads

McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.

Because...

I find it a bit disappointing and concerning Leeds only have 3 players that have made it into the England youth training squads. This compares with Wigan who have 10, St Helens 6, Warrington 5. Even Cas have more players in the squad than us with 4.

The List published for the 16s is only partial, Leeds have in fact 10 players in the 40 Performance squad

Sorry, not following you. This is a RL forum where people talk about RL. This thread is about juniors and someone asked a question and others answered with their personal knowledge and opinions. Your post is the only irrelevance so far. The rest was actually quite informative.

Some very good young kids in that list. Some are mates of my youngest who has played with and against most of them. If developed correctly there is a nucleus of very promising talent there.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

They better make sure they are the real deal by the age of 19 then.

Otherwise, goodbye... whether they are developed correctly or not.

Yup. And it will be very hard to keep Corey. Hopefully so, but Cas desperately want him back with them, and who is more attractive to a youngser?
