Someone can pass their coaching badges very quickly if needed. I doubt that’s really a consideration.

Gary Hetherington clearly never understood what his role was, is or ever will be
I doubt he would get a chair on Mastermind, question time or even question of sport.

Let's face it Kevin Sinfield has more charisma is his cut hair on the barbers floor than either Hetherington has in their whole body

GH has been a very effective CEO of the Rhinos - he may not be the brain of Britain but he more than makes up for that with his street cunning and is belief in doing the right thing for the club and the game.

Has he got everything right - certainly not - but he has got more right than wrong.

Every great leader instinctively knows when its time to pass the baton on - it looks like GH has reached that point.

Unfortunately your myopic view of Hetherington is not reflective of how he got there along with his wife in the dark dark dark days of Maurice Lindsay and his vile cronies

There are better CEOs in all sport including rugby league. I have no doubt that KS will put Leeds RL firmly back on the map when he has finished
