He's not having a right good time of it recently.

No one wants to see him leave the game under a cloud but sometimes youve got to put yourself, your health and your family (or whats left of it) first.

Well from today’s news we can safely say we are paying some players far too much. No wonder we can’t shift some on. Was really hoping for a half a hooker and a prop of quality Looks like we are getting a half, that’s it of any real quality and even that’s a risk. Don’t think we have the right coach. Especially now we have lost Carr as well. We have some good kids who knows but I’m not expecting much and can’t see us doing much for a few years yet

Now we know what Sinfield meant by toxic when he returned. Huge mistakes have been made and he’s come in to make changes and has done. Still believe there is business for us to be done.

It certainly looks less and less like the smooth machine it appeared to be during the good times. Just shows how much of pur success was based on the core of quality players who wanted to play together for Leeds.

We have had an amazing decade really if you measure purely by success; if you look a little closer though the playing standards have been dipping gradually since the turn of the decade and the one staple that was holding the book together fell off end of 2015 when the trio retired.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry that we have exceeded the cap in two of the worst seasons in living memory. Guess all you can do is

Two players who have retired, that is £160k back in the salary pot.

Merrin is also staying, he has advised the club that he is returning to Headingley. ( no not to empty his locker) see what happens.
