He's only 24 and made 96 appearances for Juve. Played in champions league for them. I think £30m about right. I think Leeds will well structure deal anyway but if we can get sub £30m that's a very good deal. He's not massively creative but will give us real presence box to box and can play right across the midfield comfortably. He's powerful and good with the ball. Interesting one.

McKennie at 20/25 million is a good signing 30 seems to be stretching it.
Similar to Rutter who I think we`ve paid 5-8 million over the odds and that`s according the German press and the fans.
Is McKennie going to create chances for our forwards?
Or is he another Adams style player?

more adams type, but we have enough attackers. midfield 3 of roca, adams and mckennie gives a really solid platform

Leeds have offered €28m (£25m), Juve want €35m (£31m). Negotiations ongoing.

He's got a bit more about him going forwards than Adams (think he's got 2 or 3 champ league goals this season) but yeah agree.

Agree re being mid table quality with the squad. A win or two will do wonders for the lads but Marsch has to deliver very soon with this backing and time he's had. This squad surely should help him hugely.

McKennie is a genuine box to box midfielder. I think we'll see him operating on the right of a 3 man midfield in a 433.

Phil Hay thinks we're a bit away in agreeing a fee with Juve but Romano thinks it's quite far down the road the negotiations..
